Joe, the founder and incumbent president of Axiom Innovations Inc., established the company in 2009. Axiom Innovations, at its core, specializes in business automation and process engineering. In 2015, the introduction of its Scarlett Network product marked Axiom Innovations’ foray into the fintech domain, with a primary focus on mortgage brokering and lending solutions. Before spearheading Axiom Innovations, Joe served as the VP of Technology at Pacific Mortgage Group. In this role, he orchestrated the development and execution of technology strategies across the group’s companies. Prior to his tenure at Pacific Mortgage Group, Joe held the position of Manager, e-Business Solutions at Maritz Canada. Here, he led the creation of tailored desktop and mobile solutions for various clients, including Scotia, CIBC, RIM, Ford, Nissan, Home Depot, Direct Energy, and IBM. Beyond his professional endeavors, Joe is an avid skier, finding solace on the hills whenever time permits. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and Business Management, as well as a Master’s in Software Engineering, both from McMaster University. Joe is also a devoted family man, married with two children. He finds immense joy in focusing on his children and instilling strong values in them.

Dong Lee joined Axiom Innovations as its CEO in February 2024. Lee brings a wealth of experience from his successful tenure at Mortgage Architects and DLC Group of Companies, now joining forces with longtime friend and Axiom President, Joseph Fakhri. With Lee’s expertise in sales and operations, coupled with Fakhri’s strength in product development and technology, the opportunities for growth at Axiom and Scarlett are immense. He’s excited to steer Axiom and sees enormous potential in expanding strategic relationships and growing core products like Scarlett Mortgage and Scarlett Pay.

Andrew’s primary focus at Scarlett is growing his clients’ business through the adoption of Scarlett Mortgage and Scarlett Pay. In the last four years, he’s overseen Scarlett Mortgage’s growth to nearly 20 billion dollars in annual submission volume. Andrew is a strong believer that relationships are the foundation to all good business partnerships. In part, Andrew credits his previous work experience for his ability to provide Brokers and Agents the highest level of service. Prior to working at Axiom, Andrew operated Royal Lepage Estate Realty, comprising of three offices and over 150 realtors. His day-to-day role focused on developing/educating realtors, recruiting and retention as well managerial operations and agent support. In both roles, Andrew has leveraged his understanding of the technical needs of his clients, to provide bespoke solutions and results. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Caitlin and his two-year-old daughter, Billie. When time permits Andrew enjoys a round of golf with his friends, competitive curling, and unfortunately cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Sarah is a dedicated and knowledgeable mortgage broker with nearly a decade of experience in all levels of residential underwriting on both the lender and broker side of the transaction. With a passion for education and system creation, Sarah is an advocate for the success of mortgage agents and is driven to make it easier for those around her to excel. Appreciated for her integrity, drive, and authenticity, Sarah has an established reputation within the mortgage industry. Her collaborative approach with the clients she works with ensures an effective, productive, and long-lasting partnership.Sarah is a dedicated family person with deep roots in Ottawa. Alongside raising a daughter,and enjoys gardening, crafting, and tackling DIY projects around the house. As a Product Lead for Scarlett Mortgage, Axiom’s Crown Jewel, Elias bring extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. His background includes overseeing product development processes from conception to launch, ensuring implementation and outcome standards are met, and fostering strong collaboration among team members. He is a skilled communicator, and problem solver, all of which are crucial for driving project success. With a passion for technology and innovation, he is dedicated to driving results and achieving excellence in every project he undertakes.

A seasoned Learning & Development professional, Monica has been leading a dynamic team to deliver cutting–edge solutions that streamline & simplify payroll management.
Monica started her tenure at Axiom Innovations as a Training & Support Specialist where she accomplished successful onboarding of Scarlett Pay clients at any given timeline & tight deadlines. She has been instrumental in the development of the payroll software that has transformed the way businesses manage their most important asset – their people. When she is not optimizing payroll workflows, Monica loves to travel and explore new places and food.

Daniel Zhu serves as lead software architect, he responsible for the overall architecture and architectural patterns and best practices used in all products and by all teams of the company, with over two decade of experience supporting the various IT needs. Before joining Axiom Innovations in 2016, he served as senior developer at Pacific Mortgage Group.

Since joining Axiom Innovations in October 2018, Joe K. has been instrumental in the development and management of the Scarlett product suite. In his dual capacity as Product Owner and Senior Product Manager, he has significantly contributed to the product’s success. Joe’s prior experience includes serving as the Head of North American Operations for Valoores Group, overseeing their US and Canadian offices. With a career spanning entirely in the IT industry, Joe possesses profound expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle and can steer and lead projects from inception to completion. His global experience is marked by roles in multinational software companies, with professional stints in the USA, Canada, France, UAE and Qatar. Joe’s leadership in implementing software solutions has spanned various sectors, including Retail, Government, and Financial Services.
Before his tenure at Valoores Group, Joe excelled as a Business Consultant and Lead Business Analyst. His portfolio of successful IT projects encompasses collaborations with notable clients such as CVS Health, Target, Canadian Tire, Carrefour, and Auchan, where he engaged directly with stakeholders on-site.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Joe is a guitarist, a skier and a skilled player of chess and backgammon. He also boasts a background as a professional basketball player. Joe cherishes traveling and creating memorable experiences with his family, valuing the time spent with his wife and son.

Jennifer currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Axiom Innovations. She earned her Master of Mathematics degree from the University of Toronto and has been an integral part of the Scarlett team since its inception. Jennifer’s role involves organizing operations across the organization, leveraging her analytical skills to maintain order and efficiency. Known for her thoroughness and attention to detail, she ensures that everyone at Axiom stays on track. Approachable and empathetic, Jennifer fosters a comfortable environment where employees feel encouraged to communicate with her. Outside of work, she is a dedicated wife and mother to two young children, which fuels her passion for caring for others.
